Potatoes of the Gala variety. Potato. Gala is a variety of German selection, medium-early ripening. It has been in the State Register of Selection Achievements since 2008.
Gala's tubers weigh 71 - 122 g, are elongated, have small eyes - they are very convenient to clean. The peel is smooth, yellow in color. The pulp is dark yellow, visually similar to good quality butter.
The yield of this variety is not bad - 216 - 263 kg per hundred square meters, but it can be even more - up to 390 kg per hundred square meters (this crop was collected on an experimental plot in the Volgograd region). Marketability of tubers is 71 – 94%. And keeping quality is 89%.
